The bad news, blackout, chocolate treats, & bahot hi lazeez karhai gosht!
So I was looking forward to the Easter break at Uni coz I was thinking of going on a road trip with some friends. One of the friends, was supposed to confirm his availability today. He would have taken leave & would let me know if it was approved. I’d been telling him to let his boss know about his leave plans, for the past 2 weeks! So today, while at Uni, I checked my email, & found 1 from him (& I was going to meet him in a while anyway). The mail was about “I’ve got bad news for you. You’re gonna kill me. My manager’s on a week long leave. May be more. I just found out. Apparently he took a tumble and now I’ve no one to take leave from…Don’t have the guts to tell this to u on the phone/face to face…”. So my plans for the road trip are now…hanging in the air?! Whatever!I had a feeling it seemed to good to be true, my finally being able to make that trip. So now I have no idea if I’ll get to go, or if I’ll just end up staying put right here throughout the break. Damn.
& just after I read that email, I headed down to the foodcourt, to grab lunch. So just after I get my food, pay forit, & turn towards the seating area to get myself a place to sit somewhere, poof!There’s a blackout!& since the foodcourt’s underground, no windows, its really dark. There’s chaos, & finally the guards come down & announce that the fire alarm was another false alarm, & that we have 2 choices- either remain calm, or leave the place through the 3 exits he pointed out. So I decided to stick it out-hey,I’d just bought lunch. There were many like me, & they were all eating by cellfone-light. Yes, they’d used their bright display lights from the cellfone screens. Anyway, so I tried to eat, in pitch darkness (my fone doesn’t have that good display lights,lol). I must’ve had 3-4 mouthfulls, & the guards returned, with orders to get the Uni evacuated! So I had to leave my lunch, & exit!
So after that debacle(well, both those incidents), you’d think I was pissed? Hah! I met the friend (the 1 who was scared to give me the bad news face to face,lol) & we headed off to the Lindt cafe (the world’s first Lindt chocolate concept store & cafe) to celebrate! lol!
Then headed off to work, came back home, cooked a wicked karhai gosht (it was the yummiest karhai gosht ever!seriously, my roomie was in awe!) , gymmed, & am finally ready to get crackin’ on that assignment…!Or am I…?!

woahh a lindt cafe?? I wanna go! Sounds awesome. Man, u live in such a rad place!

wots a lindt cafe thats making very one so much awe strucken? Cant u take that road trip on ur own? With irresponsible poeple all around, it doesnt seem that a plan would come togetehr seamlessly.

ill not believe a word of the karhai gosht being tasty coz ive never eaten the supposedly wicked gosht, whats in the pictures it might look lovely but taste kaccha????

Man, you sure r one lucky guy, imagine making your own karhai gosht and eating it, too. And lindt cafe???wow man! yeah, y can’t you take that trip with some other friend who doesn’t let you down or y cudn’t u plan that trip over the weekend??well, alls well that ends well.best o’ luck to you.
